Update: I have given up on The Maze Runner, I'm sorry but it was just really boring to me and I found myself just wanting to read other books instead. For Example, I am very excited to start reading Where She Went by Gayle Forman. He left us in suspense with the ending of If I Stay. We were unsure about whether Mia was going to choose to stay or go to Heaven with her family. Honestly, I am not sure what I would pick if I was in her place. I would want to go to Heaven to be with my family, but I wouldn't want to make Adam, Mia's boyfriend, really sad either. I would want to do whatever's best for everyone. What if God meant for me to have a great life and help other people and do all these great things? What if I gave all that up just so I could be with my family? In a selfish way, I would want to be thought of as strong. I would want to be the girl who gets over her whole family dying and goes on, with the help of her great friends and boyfriend, and lives her life to the fullest. For this reason, I want Mia to stay and have this experience make her a stronger and better person.
I have not yet watched the movie, but I really want to. I think it would be weird to see her in a ghost-like form, looking around at the hospital, and at her own unconscious body. In my opinion, I would be so scared to do that. It would just be so bizarre to be able to walk around and look at your loved ones mourning your family and you. I wouldn't be able to do it. I wonder if they show the crash. In the book, it described the crash in a very detailed way. It was quite gross to be honest. I really hope they don't show that part too much in the movie.
These are pictures from various websites that show different clips from the movie. The bottom one shows Mia and Adam hugging, and the top one shows a mixture of different scenes with Mia's scared face.
I really enjoyed reading your blog! I saw the movie If I Stay, and I personally really enjoyed it, I would defiantly recommend it! And don't worry, the car crash scene isnt gross at all! Also, did you like the second book! I haven't had a chance to read it yet but I want to !
